VICE President Sara Duterte visited Manila on Thursday night, barnstorming around Tondo district as she promoted the so-called "Dutert10" senatorial candidates of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino (PDP) party of her father, former president Rodrigo Duterte. Vice President Duterte joined the rally of Manila mayoral bet Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso, who is seeking a political comeback after running for president in 2022. Rolando Valeriano, who is seeking reelection, and who is a Sara critic being the chairman of the House Good Government Committee that investigated the vice president's P125-million confidential fund mess. Despite this, Duterte referred to Domagoso as "pinakamamahal na mayor ng siyudad ng Maynila (most loved mayor of Manila)" while also thanking him for providing the platform for her to campaign, such amenities as the stage, the microphone, and the LED wall. Sara referred to an incident in 2023 where she became a witness to a discussion between the Marcos siblings on the proposal to open up the economic provisions of the 1987 Constitution, which Imee disagreed, saying it is a "dangerous thing."
