MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Sara Duterte confirmed on Monday her support for the Senate bid of Las Piñas Rep. Camille Villar, days after coming out with a political ad endorsing Sen. The vice president said that the 10 senatorial candidates of former president Rodrigo Duterte's Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban), Marcos, and Villar "are united by a common vision." In a political ad themed "Walang Iwanan," Duterte and Villar affirmed their friendship by doing a fist bump. Duterte's PDP Laban, together with reelectionist Senator Imee Marcos and Representative Camille Villar, are united by a common vision—a peaceful and prosperous Philippines," the vice president said in a statement.
